𝑺𝑯𝑬'𝑺  𝑩𝑬𝑬𝑵  𝑫𝑹𝑰𝑵𝑲𝑰𝑵𝑮    ------blowing off steam with the girls after coming home to a  nightmare.   and maybe normally she wouldn’t cave so easily,   maybe she’d sleep it off and wait until she could face the situation in the light of day.   but this   ---   none of it is  normal.  he took her  babies,   and after all of the  shit  he’s put her through,   all of the  hell  she’s endured,   everything she’s  done  to dig them out of the hole  he  had put them in   ------beth isn’t going to  stand  for it.

but   ---   she also doesn’t know where he  took  them.   so she finds herself staring at her phone,   the messages app open to their last texts  (  something  curt  and  no  more  than  trading  facts  about  schedules  and  pickups,  etc  ).   she’s typed out three scalding messages about what a piece of  shit  he is,   deleted all of them,   and settles on something far more simple,   in the end.

Lilith rolled her eyes, jaw clenches as she tried to..reign in her...irritation. 

“Well,no...that’s not exactly true.... For one: you forget that I’m not a player in anyone’s game. And for another, I imagine it’s still quite dangerous if I pick up the board game and throw it at you....” She considered aloud. There was a pause as Lilith smiled suddenly, accompanied by a....false laugh “Metaphorically of course....”
