atlas listens with a frown on their face. "you know this girl well? you sound familiar with the way she uses power. i have heard many prophecies over the years, i remember one of a shadow girl and making slaves of witch kind. but to know that it is so closely linked with lucifer and his desires...does the girl need to die?" atlas doesn't even like asking the question, it leaves a lingering taste of dust and death on her tongue. the being has seen prophecies come to be true and others fall apart, has learned that there is some truth in all of them but that not all prophecies will come to pass. the power this girl contains worries atlas, for enslaving human and witch kind is not the worst thing that could be done.
"where is lucifer in all of this? has he been able to get a hold of her? if he was able to spawn a child i worry the barriers i built have already weakened in a catastrophic way. so long as she lives in the mortal world i think he may be able to travel as he pleases, and with each entry of this realm the wall will weaken. tell me lilith, why has she not yet been killed? i cannot imagine others do not yet know of her being, many would wish to stop this prophecy," atlas muses aloud. it confuses her that the problem has gotten this severe, that a heavenly barrier still appears to remain while the one to hell weakens.
"Better than I ever intended," Lilith admitted, remembering how she once believed her time in Greendale would be severely limited. A few days to ensure Sabrina signed the Book of the Beast and she would have been gone, returned to Hell at the Dark Lord's side. Instead, not only had her stay been severely extended, but she had found herself working more closely with Sabrina than she had ever imagined, growing to know the girl on an unexpectedly personal level.
And finding herself impressed and frustrated with her in equal measure.
"The girl doesn't need to die, no," Lilith assured with a flash of a smile. "Though if she isn't careful, I imagine it will happen anyway." But she supposed if it did, no doubt her aunts would drag her to that little pit of resurrection soil and absolve Sabrina of her consequences once again.
"Lucifer wished to use her to realise his own plans, but he discovered, as everyone eventually does, that Sabrina doesn't adhere to any plans but her own. She helped imprison him, and, very recently, became Queen of Hell herself. Even though she had promised that throne to me," she added through clenched teeth, barely contained frustration filling her features. "Instead I'm her Regent while Lucifer is bound in a human Acheron, a prison of flesh and bone, bound in Damascus Steel."
