23. Never in my life did I think that I would spend my birthday in quarantine, but that’s the reality for myself and many others right now. This birthday was different. I didn’t get overly dressed up or ask for much, but I did get to spend the day making memories of a lifetime with my family. It was a lowkey kind of day. We had a cookout and just relaxed and enjoyed our time together, something that we don’t get to do very often, but have been doing more lately because of the world right now. They say that 23 isn’t significant, but it’s been a big step for me already. This was my first of many birthdays as a Paine, and although I wasn’t able to physically have my husband by my side, we were able to FaceTime which I am extremely lucky to be able to do. I haven’t gotten the chance to thank everyone individually yet, but thank you to everyone who did wish me a happy birthday. The ones who mattered reached out, and I’m grateful to have so many good people in my life. Here’s to many more happy years ahead. #HeresTo23 🎉 (at Martinsburg, West Virginia) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_lVKX4gUPf/?igshid=1l45gvocap0dw
