I had a really lovely birthday, y'all. I had lunch with family and an afternoon by the ocean with my love. I got to dip my feet and dance in the waves and it felt like heaven. I had dinner with my people and I laughed until my belly hurt. I was given hugs (with caution) and nice phone calls and embroidered pieces of joy and gift wraps with Kamala Harris on them. I felt loved, and seen, and taken care of.
