After months of young Sven carrying him around and protecting him, Whiskers felt it was only fair to return the favor now.

I finally have time to participate in Fanwalker Friday, and fulfill my promise to draw more Heret, the fungal walker! It’s a quick n’ dirty sketch, but I’m happy to draw them again! :)

Here we see them helping out the little people during the War of the Spark. Er... well they were little, but that’s the point of the spores: sap strength from the strong, bestow it to the weak. Worthy of note, Heret never transfers the strength to themself. They only ever give strength to others. They have the ability to do so, they just never use it. Perhaps they feel they already have the right amount of strength they need.

As much as I want to continue discussion on today’s story, stories of Magic past, and so on, I am unfortunately scheduled for work today so I won’t be back ‘til 7:30 central time.

But! As we did not get Slimefoot in this story and as tomorrow is my day off, I will be drawing more Heret! So hang in there!
