With Walpurgisnacht quickly approaching, I wanted to solicit you all again to help me hunt the Heritage Witch and its minions! (As a reminder, you do not need to be a real-world puella magi or even work with Puella Magi Madoka Magica as a paradigm to participate!)

It is clear that Trump’s approval is waning steadily. People who were on board with this admin’s aims are getting increasingly fed up with all of the empty talk, contradictory actions, and undue harm placed on their communities. While I obviously do not take sole ownership of this tide shift, I really do think our work up to this point has contributed to it.

I'm out of control I need pace myself lm a gay pansexual witch in a straight relationship and I have converted sex with men to sex with my dildos I also have multiple personality . I say it's a dangerous roller coaster ride cuz sometimes my personalities kind of do what they want to do and I have no control trying to work on that I've been working on that for years I've been able to I've been able to control them enough to let them do their thing but they don't you know they are not allowed to you know do things by themselves lol if I'm not here nobody's allowed to go but we love each other being Emily we have two beautiful boys who which we are trying to get custody of cuz of course you know I'm transgender or later you want me to yeah I'm an old drug addict you know have some problems in my life I got to do what I got to do but I really don't want to do all that spotlighting me putting me in the spotlight again not many people have a personality multiple personality disorder I got raped when I was 4 years old that's how I got it I didn't realize I had it either until it started to make sense

I'd like to point out that "heathenism in your blood" isn't always a bad thing, I know I've said it, my heritage and ancestry was largely what drew me to pursue this thing. It does make me sad, the prevalence of racism in heathenry.

Many people are drawn to Heathenism for different reasons. Pagans are often drawn to their heritage. But I have to insist that rhetoric like “it’s in my blood” is a little damaging. It may not seem so, but there are undertones of supremacy there even if you don’t think so. Saying it to yourself may seem harmless, but imagine saying it around others whose heritage is not Nordic. You are now insinuating that you have more of a claim on this path than they do. 

It is similar to a heritage witch insisting to other witches that “it’s in his/her blood”. Let me say something about heritage and witchcraft/paganism. 

1) If it is your blood, it MAKES NO DIFFERENCE. You are not a better witch or a better pagan because of this. It doesn’t mean you are more knowledgeable, more intuned with the gods of this pantheon, or more familiar with the traditions. It just doesn’t. 

2) If it is not in your blood, it MAKES NO DIFFERENCE. You are not a worse witch or pagan for not having this heritage connection. It does not mean that others have more of a claim on this path than you do. 

Now, if someone asks how you came to this path, and you answer “well I have scandinavian background and I was curious”… THAT might be more acceptable, and means something completely different than bringing up that it is “already in your blood”. Because it’s not. You had to learn everything about your path just like someone who is not Scandinavian (if we’re assuming that’s what you meant since worship of Norse Gods crossed the entire earth).

So let’s just all stop talking about Blood and Heritage IN GENERAL. How about that? Let’s just take a leaf out of JK Rowling’s book (literally) and realize that BLOOD has no point in any conversation regarding witchcraft… paganry or heathenism.

Another successful immolation and series of attacks launched at the Heritage Witch! ☆

This is what we started with:

On the right we have the interior of the effigy with images of Agenda 47, the Heritage Witch, and its various familiars. On the left is the window effigy sealed and covered with the ‘attack’ sigils. (I love how it looks like colorful butterflies are swarming the window!!)

We had rain this morning so it took a bit to get a nice fire going but as soon as the effigy hit the fire pit it was off to the races.

As always, the ‘attack’ sigils were incredible to watch. The bright yellow and green flames were particularly prominent tonight!

At this point, the window effigy opened up and the images of the Witch and its familiars were immediately engulfed in flames! It was such a cool moment to witness!

It didn’t take long at all for the effigy to completely burn down. Despite the damp start, I think this was the fastest that the effigy was reduced to ashes! I’m not sure if it was because of the materials used this time or what but it seems as good as an indication as any that the opposition to Trump’s admin is growing in strength and voracity.

The Ongoing Hunt of the Heritage Witch

On the heels of another murder by the hands of ICE in Minneapolis, I wanted to post something for magical heroes who wanted to hunt the Heritage Witch (Agenda 47) and its minions outside of the concentrated attack efforts I’ve orchestrated.

Even though I won’t be soliciting ‘attacks’ from the community at this time, I invite and encourage you to utilize the playbook I wrote for Walpurgisnacht of last year to guide you in your own work. In the digital pamphlet you can find not only some of the magical worldbuilding I used to frame the hunt, but the Witch’s Kiss or sigil of The Heritage Witch (which you can also see in the GIF above), depictions of the Witch and its Familiars, and suggestions of how you can access the Labyrinth.

As I mentioned in the document, the Heritage Witch is something that cannot be defeated by a single person alone—it is through our collective actions that we will be able to pull this country from the grips of despair. ☆

I’m sure other American magical heroes are equally as horrified and incensed as I am with the news that an ICE agent in Minneapolis gunned down an innocent civilian.

Whether or not you have joined me in my ongoing work against the Heritage Witch, I think it’s prudent to draw attention to another class of Familiar that has grown out of actions such as these:

This minion is known as the Mercenary. Its role is to enforce the will of its master through violence. This familiar has fully formed wings and will fly around the Witch’s Labyrinth, aiding other familiars with their duties. They carry various firearms that they use indiscriminately against those who threaten their master.

Feel free and empowered to direct your work towards these Familiars, particularly if they are actively threatening your communities.

Hmm, wondering if I should conduct another hunt for the Heritage Witch and its minions for this year’s Walpurgisnacht…

With the admin’s popularity steadily declining and more folks questioning its actions, I think that keeping up with the work would be prudent but I’d love to know if others would be on board to help!

I’ve been seeing some misinformation starting to spread in the irl magical girl tags so I wanted to put this notice out sooner rather than later:

I want to reiterate for the magical hero community, particularly puella magis, that Walpurgisnacht the festival and Walpurgisnacht the Witch are two different things!

Walpurgisnacht (the festival for the Feast of Saint Walpurga) and Hexennacht (Witch’s Night) occur annually on April 30th into May 1st.

That being said, I have no evidence or reason to believe that Walpurgisnacht the Witch from Puella Magi Madoka Magica has historically appeared or will appear on this date.

If you want to direct your energy towards a big bad, consider joining me in my hunt for the Heritage Witch, Agenda 47, this week culminating on the evening of April 30th! The Heritage Witch, much like the Witch Walpurgisnacht, is a formidable foe that requires attention!
