i hate when people can’t accept that the atrocities human beings have committed are fundamentally human and absolutely not demonic or “monstrous”.

separating the action from the humanity severs the connection between a regular man and madness. there are steps that are crucial to critically analyze because without discernment, we are left vulnerable.

you are an annihilator. you are a survivor. you create something new with every bridge you burn. the boulder pushes further up that hill.

what are they called? reconstructuralists?

well ppl who think u have to follow the practices of the Roman and Greek pantheons to the T are just. missing the point of spirituality.

the point of gnosis is to know yourself. striving for this ideal that just doesn’t exist anymore is just spinning circles.

the parts that make up deity work: offerings, divination, calling upon them in spell work. these are all things you have to individually understand the meanings of.

because, without that, you are priming yourself for your doctrine being weaponized against you. which means, something that sounds woke but it’s actually just validating your fears.

these are all parts that make up a balanced practice. but do you understand that these parts are roles, like that of a musical or play?

these roles can be played by a litany of objects. it is with discernment that you, as a practiconer, must pick your poison.

Do you work with other deities besides Hermes?

I work with Lady Aphrodite as well!

I sort of worship them jointly. My altar is split halfway down the middle with either side dedicated to one of them.

I have statues dedicated to each of them, i technically actually have two to lady aphrodite but one is like an ornament? maybe ill post a pic later

and i have Lord Hermes’ items like on a plexiglass display thing lmfao. I have a section in the middle where I have some ambiguous spiritual tools and a dish in the very middle for any offerings to any other deities i may do more occasionally.

my worship of them jointly is sort of based on the contents of this study, but i also found this after i already began worshiping Lady Aphrodite. I had a feeling internally that something like this existed, and i found it reflected in the real world.

Lord Hermes and Lady Aphrodite feel like two polarities that I balance between, and in the balancing of these energies i make room to raise my vibration. (ik im kinda getting into the like fufu spiritual stuff just trust the process bae)

Balancing discipline with relaxation, logic with creation, provision with reception. These are all important points to digest in becoming an adult and growing into yourself as a human being.

aha, i could go on and on. maybe ill write a little more about my worship later.
