HONESTLY YEAH. YEAH that sums up my observations so far pretty well. Technically Mumbo has mumbokids too but they mostly evolved into grumbokids. Grumbokids and grumbogremlins are two different species. The -kids are technically a non-hermitblr species, although they could possibly come here most of them lurk due to hermitblr not being their natural habitat. -kids are a youtube and wattpad, sometimes amino and similar websites residers. -gremlins, on the other hand, are a hermitblr species for sure.

So to sum it up, both Mumbo, Grian and their combined Grumbo fanbase have -kid and -gremlin variations, but what could be conaidered mumbokids are rarer nowadays.

Bdubsboy - the dark grey is for anime i guess

What are the defining traits of the doc fan subcategory? There are definitely shared traits but i am unsure on exactly what they are

I cannot think of any specific Doc main person but I do know I've seen some before hmm... To be honest I'm just getting a lot of chill vibes from them, and I feel like they posess too much power and stubborness when it comes to making shitposts viral. They are very lore-based people but I feel like they've almost got their own thing going on. They kinda feel like a secret society to me for now but it may be my own bias. More research needed before a concrete conclusion can be reached.

Ok so there is one thing that should be noted about the hermitblr species

Most often than not, people are fans of more than one hermit, and often large groups of people are dedicated to an entire duo or group of them that are commonly associated together. This means that sometimes, the more specific terms based on each hermit might not really be accurate.

What I mean by this is, for example, although there undoubtedly are people who are dedicated to solely, say, Mumbo, there is a large overlap between Mumbo's and Grian's fanbase, so it is more common to find grumbogremlins than griangremlins. A lot of the time one hermit's fanbase influences another one's, even if they can remain separate.

We can see it in the example of most joeguys being also cleogays, the two fanbases having a symbiotic relationship. However, another example is the curious phenomena that is the skrunklification of ethogirls due to high boysdubs/bdubsboys proximity. This is a subject I might explore later, but I think it's highly curious how such processes are occurring in front of our very eyes.
