Hermitcraft Big Blog Swap

It took a bit longer to sort out that I first thought, but our own HCBBS is now accepting sign-ups!

What is it?

After sign-ups have closed, you will be paired with another participant. The two of you will then swap blog icons, headers and colours - swapping themes is optional, because it can be quite the hassle!

But that’s not all! You will also be telling your partner who your one or two favourite hermits are and, if applicable, your minesona (you will not need a minesona to participate, this is optional).

Once this information has been swapped, it’s time to create! Draw! Write! Paint! Sculpt! Do whatever you want! But whatever you do MUST include your partner’s favourite hermit(s) and/or minesona. There is no limit to how much you can make, just make sure that if you sign up, you have the time to make something. We don’t want sign-ups who aren’t going to participate!

The first thing you need to do upon joining the chat is to make sure you read and understand the rules. This is VERY important, as any rule breaking will result in a warning or even a ban!

Anything else I need to know?

I will not be participating in the event as I’m too busy, but myself and two other mods will be monitoring the event closely, and keeping an eye out for any rule-breakers. The three of us are also in different time zones which means there is almost always someone online to help out!

This post will be up for a week and sign-ups will close on 06/03/21 (that’s an English short date so in March, not June) at 11pm UK time. If you’re not sure if sign-ups are closed, check the notes as I will be reblogging this post at that time to announce the closure.

After that, all you need to do is wait to be assigned a partner, then you can go nuts! The event will end on 31/03/21 at 11pm UK time, which is when you can all switch your blogs back to normal.
