her-name-is-jill came to the crossroads
Not many were able to wonder into the crossroads between Heaven, Hell, and Earth without the help of a creature. But it is a possibility if there is a fault in the gates. The area was rather odd… One path of the crossroads was a comforting path, illuminated by birds that flew around holding lanterns. However, the other path lead to a river, the one that flowed around the estate, but this part of the river had a deadly current. It drew one to it with an evil hand. The path one would have come from, was rather plain. It repelled, and voices could be heard over the dead plants. Then, ahead, which is where they were destined to go, was a foggy path, it had little light, but it was the only normal path… Above, was the moon high in the sky, but it had a cursed feeling, and delivered a dark ambiance. Upon going down the foggy path, it all changed.
After crossing a wooden bridge, one would come to a large body of land. It was a farm it seemed, small mountains were behind the plot of land, a hut was present, it resembled the homes from the feudal Ara of Japan. A large Sakura Blossom tree was in front of the house. The large river ran around in powerful ways, giving off a beautiful sound. The sun, it was suspended, ready to begin descending into the night. But it never did leave. Just stay put. There were no animals at all, and the river slowly flowed to a small pond next to the house, it was very shallow, and was made for bathing. Spider Lilly surrounded the house, which made the land rather attractive. Once one was picked, another would immediately grow back to replace the missing one, or if the dew fell off, more would come within eight hours, even though it never rained. As one walked closer, it appeared there were residents.
An old women was making clothes inside, she never walked out, and never needed sleep, and so just sat there. A spider with three eyes on it’s abdomen spun it’s web carefully on the house porch. On that same porch, there were three people. An old hairless man, his main trait was the large red scarf around his neck. And then a young man, who was dressed in, shockingly, present-day clothing, a bit of his black hair in his eyes. And then a woman that seemed to be in her mid 20s, in a rather chest revealing yukataka. They were conversing among themselves, and didn’t seem to notice the newcomer. However, there was one girl there that was by the Sakura Tree. She was pale, had long black hair, red eyes, and was dressed in a black Japanese-School-Girl uniform.
As soon as the other neared, she turned to look at them. Her red eyes piercing them with a dead feeling. Once they got close enough for conversation, she began speaking. “Hello… It’s odd that you’ve come here… My name is Ai Enma… Normally a morsel would have fled seeing this place.” She spoke in a melancholy tone.
