So the mess with my daughter's school got worse and now I am on the verge of doing the most American thing i can do. I'm gonna sue them cause they are trying to expell my daughter for the intern bullshit when her grades are an A-! I got lots of people in the corner though so hopefully it all goes well.🧐

Pretty sure its over. Don't know if i would watch a second season. Also his older sister is hands down the creepiest bro-con I have ever seen and I have seen a lot in anime. Yeah, this one takes the cake.😶

I can't express the amount of nostalgia that I get watching this anime! All the dances I grew up watching on MTV and sometimes on the street when I was in the city, not that I ever tried them cause uh no, just bring me back to a simpler time when you could have a fight and have dance be the weapon! The perfect palate cleanser after that bland classless shit.😁

We got a lot today folks. Link not having romantic feelings for Sam which both of them confessing was more brave than I ever could be. Now I want Link with Angela! Monica just accepting that she can't get through to Marshall rubbed me the wrong way. You can't just give up like that when you know the person isn't physically well at least in my opinion. The roughest one though was Marshall. Finding out that Ruminate was dedicated to him? I can only imagine the guilt that came down on him hard. I see a hospital visit now!😖

I've been reading a book on writing good fiction, and naturally Conflict is mentioned as an important element of plot.

For an example of why, I recommend looking at two anime:

The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash

and

Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?

Both of these start from a similar place. The protagonist is supposed to receive a blessing from on high defining their societal role and then gets...nothing. But Weakest Tamer makes it a problem, and Hero Without a Class makes it nothing but a shock in the temple.

Like, the hero of Hero is unbothered by the fact that he gets no class. There's not even internal tension about it. And then also he's better at swordsmanship than people who actually have the Swordsman class? Mind you, this is all episode one.

Oh! And the prejudices!

In Weakest Tamer the prejudices work correctly: The jerk leader of their town convinces people that the presence of someone abandoned by the gods will bring misery to the town. As such, the kid is mistreated by society at large.

In Hero the "prejudice" is the immediately-disproven idea that the hero can't fight because he doesn't have a fighty class. And they exhibit this "prejudice" by fighting him. And losing.

So there's no internal tension about not having a class, and there's only the limpest wave in the direction of conflict externally.

Mon-Thursday Anime Line Up Summer/Fall 2025 ~ Last Week/Week One

A few stragglers left from Summer and then the rest is the anime that made the 3 episode Ruling Early and actually there are quite a bit! I waited till Friday to post this cause I had far and few between in the week and I know tomorrow will be stand alone. Also my daughter and I managed to get a seasonal cold so I have been out of it since Wednesday.😵

Tomorrow though my daughter and I are going to an Oktoberfest, yes I know its actually in September, Craft Faire which is kind of an early birthday celebration since I am working on that day so I am pushing to get better by taking the day off from work and her from classes so I was able to catch up on all the new anime that came out.😊

Kijin Gentoushou

its sad that the last few episodes had some jankie animation cause I really enjoyed this series as a whole and am looking forward to the next one, especially since we found out the connection to 2009 or their future now with the Inari Mirror. Jinya-dono also has to face his sister in demon form still and I am sure his daughter is going to be affected by the moment in some form. Either way I am excited for the conclusion!😁

Mofa Gongzhu de Xiao Fannao

Not sure why three episodes have already been released but i am not complaining one bit. Oddly I read this one like i did Zutaboro Reijou wa Ane no Moto Konyakusha ni Dekiai sareru and didn't know it got green lit as an anime. So far though the adaptation is done perfectly and this was a recent read for me so unlike Zutaboro I am following it more closely. Either way this looks like a fun ride and the animation is beautiful!😍

Mushoku no Eiyuu: Betsu ni Skill Nanka Ira Nakattan Daga

Second episode now and still has not failed me. I was wrong though, I thought that the place that was mentioned at the end of the episode that the red head, still have to remember their name, went to was not a school but a city where there are many guilds and places to hone your blessed skill. In Arel's case though it was a means to find his mom's old guild since she knew that he would have a tough time not having a skill getting into any other guild. Turned out that red head, who was a girl my daughter was right, is part of that guild and after another duel with her proving he is even stronger now he joins. Considering the Guild Master is a one armed drunk there is a lot to unpack with this one!🧐

Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi Ni Season 2

Its back after almost 10 years and we finally got another season! I missed everyone from Aoi-san to Ōdanna-sama and everyone in between! There was a reintroduction to almost all the characters from last season including the one I wanted to forget Raijū. Why are all the dangerous characters so good looking!?😩

Akujiki Reijou to Kyouketsu Koushaku: Sono Mamono, Watashi ga Oishiku Itadakimasu!

And I thought I wasn't gonna have a food anime this season. Well monster meat here is no different than the monster meat from Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi rock on m'lady! These names are gonna kill me though so I hope they get nick names I can use. Let's see we got Melphiera-sama and her love of monster meat to the point of killing and preparing it for how ever it will be cooked and the Mad Blood Duke or whatever Galbraith-sama. Yeah, I am gonna be doing some major copy past on this one. Oh and I already love the Duke's right hand man Chaos! I mean how can you go wrong with a name like that?🤭
