“How did you come up with the tentacle...arm-thing?” Peter could understand bionic arms, but bionic tentacle things? Not a look he would’ve gone for.

"I'm sorry, who are you exactly?"

🤝- Grab my muse's hand.
Rosie smiled as Otto grabbed her hand, even after all these years it still gave her butterflies when he held her hand. Something so simple yet the poets she studied would have described it as the purest form of love.
"Yes, Otto, what do you need?"
“Repentance, what a concept. . .” He scoffs at the idea, observing one of the red-tinted pumpkin bomb. What is the use of doing so much and then going back and saying it was all wrong? A waste of time if one does not hone up to their deeds, “A brilliant mind like yourself should know there’s no going back once you’ve made it to the list of public enemies, Octavius. . .” Green eyes glance over, smirking as he grips the bomb tightly, “Are you in, or shall I chalk you down as a pawn wanting to change sides?”

📂📂📂!!
rosie has her bellybutton pierced. it was an impulsive decision when she was a freshman in collage, and she was definitely talked into it by a few other girls, though she will say she doesn’t regret it if asked if she still wears jewelry through the piercing . . . she won’t tell.
she has poor circulation, this woman’s hands ? almost always chilly.
rosie’s mother taught her to play the piano when she was younger, it was something her mother would make her show off to guests / family when they would visit. though rosie still takes an interest in it, and is a talented pianist she only plays when inspiration strikes.

they meet during the events of no way h.ome - so similar in so many ways, but so different in others. that even across the borders of reality, they would still become this - that rosie would still die, and the chip would still malfunction - makes it all feel so inevitable, and that makes otto even more resistant to "fixing".
their arms kind of don't like each other. it's the way two cats would interact (or even one cat looking in the mirror!), all skittishness and confusion. the flurry of half-worried exclamations is up to otto to translate aloud, and this is one of the first few times he will do so with a hint of a smile.
when both are cured, he is nothing but curious: where do their lives diverge? what makes their universes alternate? to compare notes, contrast their experiences, is to be understood in a way no one else could ever come close to. (much like the peters, there are superficial differences - their actuators, while their name schemes are the same, are situated in different positions.)
together, they are able to come up with a way to disable their machine when they will eventually be returned to their home universes. where one could not, two can: each had given half a thought to containing it, and with another voice, another mind to bounce ideas off, they're able to solidify a plan so that if it's true that they're going to die, they have a decent shot at stopping it.
@herodrowned sent: The scientist stands there, for a moment, with complete and utter silence. That is until, of course- "Peter, you're about the same age as my boy, right? You don't happen to know what DILF stands for, do you?"
Oh no. Peter decided to keep working on his calculations for Dr. Connors’s class, trying to sort of ignore the rather assertive presence of Otto. It was hard to not, because Peter really adored his work and respected him that much more. And then the cursed question came and he paused.
“Uh... No, Dr. Octavius, I-I don’t. Sorry.” Sonny, you’re dating a terrible liar.
