I feel your pain, dude. They could've did the movie in so many ways with a Peter Parker story, but they just had to give him Miles' shit. And it was especially dumb to do that with his movie coming out.

oh god, I know. they didn’t want to show the origin story again? great! spiderman has decades of comic books to choose from, they could’ve picked whatever they liked from there.

but let’s face it. sm:hc is pure fanservice. people think it’s comic accurate because they’d tricked themselves into thinking that’s how Peter Parker really is. the MCU not only is racist, they're lazy af and let the fans write their movies to assure succes.

I don’t really see what’s wrong with him taking over Harlem’s Paradise. What rule has he actually broken? What’s he doing wrong?

Because it’s implied, he’s not only taking Harlem Paradise but the whole shady business that goes with it. He is basically taking Mariah and before her Cottonmouth’s place. 

That’s why everyone is looking at him differently in the last 5 minutes of the show. This is why the mob bosses are their and want to have audiences with him, he’s not becoming the new sheriff of Harlem but the new “King” with all that entails. This is why Misty told him he didn’t have to accept it and why DW told him that he couldn’t do business in the barber shop anymore. That club is basically a special form of hell, anyone involve in it is meant to do illegal stuff.

I promised myself I’d at least watch it to find out who the villain is. I’ll go back to it eventually
