How do you feel about tasmania?

Tasmania has the best weather in the country and the nicest nature-y jazz. It also has the cheapest rent (which is a pretty huge deal. Some friends and I were looking at moving into a crazy 11 bedroom mansion on a massive property there for like $500 a week) and a pretty good nightlife (for Australian standards).

That said, there is this thing colloquially known as "The Flannelette Curtain" on one side of it life's pretty alright, but on the other is the highest concentration of bogans in the country. It's terrifying. They have Crown Land which basically means there's this giant bush in the middle of Tassie that nobody is allowed to build on or sleep in because it was a "gift" from the queen. The public transport is pretty bollocks. Tasmania also has the nation's highest number of 1%er bikie gangs per capita, a giant hole in the ozone layer that causes sunburns in the middle of winter and was the only state to completely wipe out all pure Aboriginal bloodlines during the colonisation and White Australia Policy era. So yeah. Not all so nice.

But they do produce more opium than anywhere else on the planet.
