Joke&Eraser (Platonic bc that’s all i got for these two sOZ)
001. Emi always idolized Shouta as if he were her older brother (much to the dismay of her actual older brother) and he ended up being what inspired her to become a hero--something nobody in her family had ever really considered (especially because Outburst isn’t exactly a combat oriented quirk). This all went one step further when she became an underground hero && started off sidekicking at the same agency he was working at. (Total coincidence definitely nothing she planned)
002. Her “crush” on Shouta is completely fabricated. She’s on a mission to get him to laugh at one of her jokes at least once (because her quirk doesn’t work on him), and once when she was ~5 she made a joke about him marrying her when they got older & he gave the tiniest hint of a lil smile && it’s been the closest she’s gotten to this day so she’s just try-harding at this point. Plus, she just kinda loves teasing him about it bc they dated for all of 0.5 seconds when they were teenagers before Emi realized Shouta was in love with Mic and she just !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! “We gotta set you two up” “Didn’t you just ask me on a date.” “Shut up I’m gonna get you your dream man”
003. Shouta’s always had at least 5 inches on Emi because she is smol & he is tol so that results in her jumping on his back a lot and demanding piggy back rides (shouta usually complies idk it’s good muscle training or some shit) And then one day she insisted that Shouta should jump on her back and he was like “Um i’d crush u” and she was like “No check out these guns” (which are tbh quite impressive she’s p. ripped), and he was like “....” but he did it and she actually could’ve carried him if at this point he didn’t have a full 7 inches on her so she switched and carried him bridal style “Practice for when we’re married.” “Why would you be carrying me” “I don’t subscribe to societal expectations based around gender.” “...” “Also I’m assuming you’d fall asleep at our reception.”
Midnight&Mic (u also get platonic bc i had like 2 romantic ones but i didn’t like them enough)
001. Midnight is (so far, anyways) the only staff member who hasn’t complained about Mic somehow moving a baby grand piano into the teacher’s dorms. Her room is far enough that the sound doesn’t stop her from sleeping & Mic tends to be able to play even the most obscure requests && it’s nice background noise while grading papers, so she tends to sit on one of the couches and make small talk with him between songs while getting some work done.
002. Mic is super forgetful all the time so he constantly forgets his lil fidgety toys && that proves to be really fckin annoying during staff meetings & such because he ends up just taptaptaptaptapping his pencil or bouncing his leg or just standing up bc he can’t handle it so midnight has taken to keeping a spinner in her bag at all times (she also uses it herself just when she’s bored bc lbh those things are fun to mess with)
003. Mic has. The biggest friend crush on Midnight. Where he just like. Thinks she’s so cool and awesome and he was probably afraid to talk to her the first time they met. And he’s never gotten over that even now that they’re friends so he’s just always. Trying a lil too hard to get Midnight to like him (even tho she already does and mic knows that but he still wants to be sure !!) And everyone (mainly shouta bc he’s a lil shit) totally makes fun of him for it and jokes that he’s in looooooove with her (which, granted, he is, but) but Midnight just thinks it’s super cute and it’s not like there’s anything wRONG with it so she lets Mic do his Thing whatever she thinks he’s a #pal anyways.
