Settling dust, and his mind was ablaze, as soon as hellish crimson reflected that which was worse than the most pungent sore on his heavenbound gaze. (THAT WHICH WAS THE LEAST AMAZING OF THEM ALL.) And still dared to insinuate he was anything less than a drop of freshly squeezed bullshit on his path to glory - nah, it wasn’t even an insult worth a petty fight at this point. THIS WAS GOING TO BE A FULL BLOWN MASSACRE.

Each ripchord muscle seized against its bearer’s insistence on forcing his physical attributes to such intense heights - after all, his Quirk did very little for his actual strength and reflexes, those were the noble beast’s own hard-won bounty. Glistening ivory was suddenly the forefront of a previously enraged visage, a dazzling crescent that promised nothing but a ready scaffold - his clenched jaw the noose.

who cares about names? not kirishima. all he cares about is whether or not they’re a hero.

he isn’t sure who the person on the ground is, all he knows is they had the name pro-hero associated with them. what gave them to right to waste their lives saving people they don’t even know and leave their loved ones behind? nothing did.

all he sees is red as he slams their face into the concrete, both if his feet digging into the ground it starts to crack around him. there’s blood spatter on the ground and dirtying the dark boots on his feet but he doesn’t care. let the blood form a river and flow into the streets, for all he cares. he wants them to know another hero has been killed. another blow and the head of the hero meets the concrete. from the damage he’d already sustained it’s very unlikely that he’s even still alive, but red riot doesn’t take the time to check if he’s breathing; instead, he uses both hands and snaps the neck of the villain without even batting an eye.

out of the corner of his eye he sees movement coming from one of the alley’s that lead to the street, and he freezes on instinct. he can feel some blood on his face that he hadn’t noticed before. damn. standing up straight, his back cracks loudly. “who are you!?” kirishima calls out, wiping the blood off of his face with the back of his hand. it doesn’t do much other than smear it across his jaw. with his left foot he shoves the body of the hero out of the way, slowly, but carefully making his way toward the other person. if it’s another pro-hero so be it.

WORDS spat with as much annoyance as he could muster ( read: quite a lot ) bakugou kicked at the shorter boy. not making contact, but close enough to be a solid warning. having been lectured at least a fucking hundred times by his teachers at the u.a about ‘not getting violent with civilians’ katsuki wasn’t about to let deku of all people make him endure another one. especially when he’d been on such a solid streak of not seeing the little bastard.

BUT here he was, blocking the stairs up to their apartments on the one day that bakugou was actually carrying shit. what a dick. his moms ice cream was probably melting & who was she gonna get pissy with? Katsuki.
