Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but...
... in the Christmas-package from work was a block of (hard, Dutch, yellow) cheese (in plastic), covered in green fuzzy mould.
Edited to add - Herr Fleischer @theslaughteredkelpie can I impose on you for some advice about this, because Google is giving me very mixed messages: can I cut away the mould and still eat what’s left of the cheese (I’m assuming it’s Gouda, it doesn’t say) or should I throw out the whole block?
The Scottish Nuckelavee is a "skinless centaur" with a snout like a pig's that expels gusts of steam, a single enormous eye, and arms that drag upon the ground, according to the "Encyclopedia of Fairies in World Folklore and Mythology" (McFarland, 2013). It lives in the ocean and can kill people by breathing on them, leading them to waste away and eventually die. Picture by Zuma.
Herr Fleischer @theslaughteredkelpie, I found you another monster horse.
Truth.
And now I want a whole series of little videos where Herr Fleischer gives cooking lessons.
This strange, intriguing piece of art is by Dutch artist Godpipo and is called “Untitled (Saint Sebastian)”. I love it, even though my interpretation of it varies wildly from minute to minute.
It might be something Herr Fleischer ( @theslaughteredkelpie ) likes. Also, look, @ofmagpiesandtigers, a very unique Saint Sebastian work of art.
I don’t know if @theslaughteredkelpie does burgers, Herr Fleischer, but this was too good to not show you.
Did I just buy this towel because it reminded me of Herr Fleischer? Maybe...
