The German label Giegling always has a mix by one of their artists on their website. It rotates in time spans unknown to me and the most recent mix is by Herr Koreander, an alias of Konstantin. Einsame Inseln means lonely islands in German and thinking about it, it kind of fits the mix. It’s quite calm deep house, very well to listen to when you are lonely (not lacking a pinch of melancholy) but nevertheless giving warmth and comfort. As being on an island can relativize a certain amount of loneliness because there is no possibility of not being alone. Just a great mix for calm winter times!
