Deactivated artillery piece in Ben Shefer park, Herzelia. March 2021.

If memory serves, this piece was used for protecting the surrounding areas during the war of independence, ca 1948-49. The park itself has a memorial wall containing names of all Herzelia born people who've fallen in their service for protecting the people and the land.

I think this is a soviet 45mm gun, but I don't really remember. An info plate at the entrance to the park specifies the type and the specifics of this piece, as well as other relevant information about it.
