Chi Modu gifted me this many years ago...its at least 20 years old and has been banged around way more than it should been. This pic says so much, chi was good like that. He could tell you a story simply by being a fly on the wall. To my knowledge he never ran this anywhere while LONS was still a group. I believe this was him respecting there internal dysfunction and not wanting to promote that to the world. Meant a lot when he gave me this. I also have an ODB print he gave me a few years back when we did a Collab for Diamond Supply Co. Time to frame that one already. Rest Easy brother Chi. You took the pictures that define our youth. So glad I got to work with you on an ODB project a few years back. You were a great human being , you always made me laugh at the absurdity it all . This is one of the last times I saw you, in front of one of your countless classic images. Glad we got to hang in LA at your exhibition with HVW8 gallery@that weekend. Your work will live eternally as will your warm and loving energy. I cherish the LONS pic you gifted me many moons ago, its hanging in my house as I write this. We all love you as a man, a friend and an artist. Truly you’re one of the greats, thank you for everything, I can’t believe you have transitioned, still trying to wrap my head around it.
