for the book ask: 4, 5, and 21!
A popular book you dislike. Most of Fitzgerald and Hemmingway. I'm not an especially big fan of the Patrick O'Brien Aubrey–Maturin novels, even though they're super popular amongst those with an interest - which is odd to me, because they're the sort of book it seem I ought to like!
A book you love that it seems like no one else has read. Autobiographies of Sean O'Casey are such a mad delight.
A book that improved upon reread. The Tale of Genji, for sure. It's so foreign to what I'm used to, re-reads have brought it and myself into a more united, mutually intelligible world.
Shank you, shank you! x
