WHO: Edgar Bones and Hestia Jones
WHEN: Friday, March 3rd, 1978. 12:38PM. Lunch Time.
WHERE: The Great Hall
Edgar held his hand underneath the ladle and then dropped a large helping of cheese pudding onto his plate. It was lunchtime at Hogwarts and the Great Hall was buzzing with the noise of students talking from each of the four tables. Edgar was feeling particularly good that day. His classes had been fairly pleasant, Gabrielle looked as beautiful as ever, and in just a few short days, his father would be leaving Hogwarts. It wasn’t that he didn’t like having Dad around, but he had grown weary of their constant disagreements. It would be quite nice to be independent again, and to stop looking over his shoulder every time he was doing something that his dad wouldn’t approve of.
Glancing around, Edgar took in the sight of his housemates. Most were in conversation with the people around them. Gabrielle, with Liliane. Ludo, with Alexei. Lockhart seemed to be bothering Rookwood, which Edgar felt a moment of amusement over. He turned to his left, where Hestia Jones was also beginning her lunch. He smiled, “Having a good day, Hestia?”
