5A Finale

The amount of build up for Stydia leading into the finale of 5A was almost unbearable. My heart rate seemed to climb higher and higher as the episode continued on in the hope of a single moment of heart-wrenchingly powerful Stydia feels. I was a little saddened by the fact that this episode seemed to lack any semblance of Stiles and Lydia’s imminent destiny. This means nothing in terms of the overall reality of Stydia. The build up for these two characters to become a couple is so immense that for it to not happen eventually would be to crush the whole entire show, in my opinion. I still look for a single moment in every episode I watch because I know that each new moment is one moment closer to the two soulmates becoming canon. It will happen sooner rather than later, and although I’m dying in anticipation... the longer we wait the more impossibly powerful the moment will feel to all of us wolfies<3

It’s ok, Stydia HAS to be endgame. Every cast member (including Holland and Dylan!) ships it. I saw an interview where Jeff Davis said in season 5 Lydia doesn’t end up with who you think she will...at first, and everyone thinks Marrish is a thing at first. Holland replied “stay tuned!!!” to a tweet asking if Stydia shippers should give up or nah. MTV themselves randomly made a special “road to senior year” video of them when the other ones were father-son, mother-son, and Sciles and it was fucking rOMANTIC guys. Like the song? The CLIPS they chose? Yeah. Stydia is endgame guys. Don’t even try to say it isn’t.

So this is making me mad

Ok, ok, ok hold up. I'm talking about Stiles and Lydia, Stydia specifically. Lydia didn't give a damn about Stiles then as time went on they became good friends. I don't ship Stydia but it's my brotp, because it's an awesome thing but I love Marrish. Ok back to Stydia. They kinda stripped that down when they put her with Jackson, then Aiden, and him with Malia, I don't ship that either but I like Malia. Then they almost completely blew it out of the with the Sheriff and Lydia's mom going on the date, or they were going to on the date. And now they go and say #HeStillLikesHer. It's pissing me off that they keep tossing that around. It's not canon but they are trying their DAMNED hardest to make it!
