Why do deer freak you out?

Aaah, it's seriously the dumbest thing. xD Male deer much more than females, though... Females are pretty cute. ;u; But male deer. Like, basically, when you startle them they just to that quick-turning-head-thing where they just turn and STARE AT YOU FOREVER. And it's just kind of unnerving and I've read before that deer are one of the most dangerous animal here in Canada because they'll charge at you. asdfghjkl

But the thing it, I'm not even scared of them charging. xD I just, the way they stare, it's creepy, but the antlers make it more creepy. xD;;;

It might also have something to do with the spirit from Princess Mononoke.

I know it doesn't even really look much like a deER BUT I'M ALREADY FREAKING OUT LOOKING AT IT. LIKE IT'S FACE. WHEN I LOOK AT DEER I SEE THAT HUMANISH FACE ON THEM AAAAAHHH WHY?!?

But sometimes though, male deer are really cute. Like if they're grazing or jumping around or something. I never really see any deer here but females and babies though, so yeah. |D Like, if I saw a male I woundn't immediately be scared of it, but if it heard he and did that STARING THING then I just give the shivers asdfghjklcvbnm
