But we need #heterosexualprideday because they get murdered and fired from their jobs for being straight right? In some countries its punishable by death to be straight right? They are told everyday they're a sin, an abomination, and am abnormality right? They get kicked out of their homes and disowned by their family because theyre straight right? They've been opressed for centuries right? They couldnt get married until only a year ago right? They get beat up for being straight right? They are a minority right? They are perceived by some to be mentally ill right? Their safe spaces and sanctuaries get shot up right? They get mass murdered for existing right? They need safe spaces because the world isnt their safe space right? They were open fired at in their safe space in the deadliest mass shooting in american history simply for existing right? They hold no power right? Theyre rejected by society, family, friends, and places of worship right? If it wasnt obvious, this was all sarcastic. #heterosexualprideday is a stupid idea that serves no purpose.
