I love chocolate because I am not an uninformed Cro-Magnon with rough, untempered taste buds. There's this thing called Ghiradelli that's usually my go-to unless. You have this. This creation. This Goddess. A small, spherical trophy of all the valour and honour and victory of the gods of Olde, consisting of a dark chocolate shell and a creamy inner shell. 2. What is the best type of dried fruit?

Have you ever unironically had dried apricots? They exist. They are a thing that exists. Old Italian people like to shove them bodily down your throat. It is a Rite of Passage to ingest these glorious orbs of godly manifestation

3. What is your favourite word from a language other than your mother tongue?

Either saudade-Portuguese, which refers to feeling nostalgic for something you've never actually had, or iktsuarpok- Inuit- which is that feeling of anticipation that you have when you're waiting for someone and you keep going outside to see if they've arrived. There are a lot of words we don't have in English, beautiful language though it is, and sometimes I'm struck with its limits

4. Why do you like animals (and what is your favourite)?

I love animals because, despite many having near-human intelligence, there's still a certain innocence about them. There are records of the more intelligent animals- go figure- exhibiting psychopathy and cruelty, but even then, it's far less widespread and common (or at least, that's what we think thus far). There's something calming about a straightforward survival- I kill you because one day I will die to feed another, etc. I love bats, jellyfish (though that technically doesn't count, it's a controversial point in terms of marine biology), pigs, otters, and dolphins. You know that horse girl in elementary school? I was the fucking dolphin girl

5. What sorts of animals do you dislike? (Name them too!)

FUCKING MOSQUITOES WHAT PURPOSE DO THEY EVEN FUCKING SERVE? FUCKING WASPS? BEES ARE FINE BUT FUCKING EUROPEAN HORNETS WHAT THE FRICK FRACK PADDLE WACK

6. Have you read Life of Pi?

I can honestly say that book actually really changed my life. I read it overnight at my best friend's house when I was dealing with some spiritual issues- being Catholic, but also being interested in other religions and wondering what Catholicism really meant- and it just. Really. Helped lil Ashpea out a lot

7. How long is your list of books that you want to read at some point?

8. What was the last informative piece of non-fiction literature that you read, and how did you like it?

An online PDF book- Psychopathy in Children. It was really interesting! But also really hella disturbing! Please make sure ur kiddo isn't torturing small animals

Yes! 'u' Before Maibun I admit I was mainly restricted to European- both east and west- and northern African cinema, but now I'm getting into Chinese cinema as well even if the Confucian endings ARE BULLSHENANIGANS
