She was swamped, her hands sorting through papers as she could hear the phone ringing continuously outside the door, she really needed to get that but she also needed to get this paperwork done before four o’clock rolled around and she had about an hour before then to finish a half a stack. When she got most of it sorted she jogged, or well walked fast because heels weren’t the best things to run in, to the phone, “Thank you for calling--” The man on the other end was already yelling about the wait and she tried to apologize but the man was furious, when she saw Silas in the distance she tried to wave him down, but in her hurry she knocked the organized stack off the desk and she sank in her chair, her forehead in her hand. She was anything but happy with the accident, pissed was the level she seemed to be on and it fueled the stress she was feeling, especially when the man was ripping her a new one until he hung up on her.
