On my way home to Raleigh, exhausted, smelling like the salt water pool, smoke, and sea food. I have new books to review (and now that I’m not on the road I can get back to that!), new ideas to play with, and lots of new friends to keep up with and keep learning from. New Orleans is another world, and HexFest really pushes attendees to step out of comfort zones, try new things, and engage with each others (even over difficult stuff that we usually like to ignore).
