The messenger of his god.

She was a pretty little thing, on he didn't notice until he truly got to know her... She was his. Gabriel was Sunday's, truly and eternally... Perhaps it was to be expected they were going to go their separate ways, and while he despised knowing such a fate...

Her roses would always remain in bloom while his withered and died.

She was someone who opposed his divinity. She was someone who he needed to reclaim, to clip her wings and to hide away in a cage. She was a beauty, a vision. One only meant for his eyes... in such a way he could restore their order, she could be happy again.

There was a sadness to her now, despite their distance, her birds continued to find him, how else did he know of her roses? How could he forget about her when she continued to send her messenger birds to him?

He could never forget.

Perhaps someday, once his majesty had completed his goals, once order had been achieved and peace restored. A world without fear, perhaps they could be happy... Everyday would be Sunday. Monday would never see the dawn...

She would be his wholly, eternally... The worship meant for gods...something he would gladly gift her in return...

If only she were Satisfied with her role.
