I think that there’s a good chunk of clone club who loooovvvveeeessss reading through oodles of analysis so large word count might just be and added bonus.

I can read through a recap or analysis of yours and one point will make me go “yesss someone else saw it that way!”, another “how did I not see this?!!!” and even when there are points where I disagree, your “getting at a thought” shows me how you got to where you did, so I can consider whatever aspect you’re discussing from an alternate point of view- because you brought me along for the ride, if that makes sense.

plays a big role because that’s a great attitude to have / principle to work on and I think it shows through in the relevance of the topics you choose to discuss and the fruitfulness of the discussions that end up on your page.

I find it quite humbling and marvelous and delightful how I'm just someone ranting out into the ether that is the internet and people came to read and then discuss and now sometimes randomly pop up to say, "Hey, here's a thought I had, what do you think?" Like my opinion is valuable when it's not more or less relevant than anyone else's?

It's especially flattering when people bring topics of discussion to me. If someone is asking a question, it's probably something they've been thinking about. So I'm always curious as to why they wanted to pose the question to me, since if you've been thinking about it, you probably have some views on the question already. I know your minds are just as furiously turning over these topics and it's . . . Like, I hang out in my own bubble, mostly, so it's amazing to me that people come to scratch around in my sandbox.

I hope to never come off as an authority because the one thing I know is that I know nothing. XD
