Agree the plot needed some work and the animation was stagnant at best, I always wondered how it would be if it was animated by a different team?

the future arc is where i had left off for a while cuz i thought it got a little boring at times and a little too complicated.
Yeah, I felt the same way about the Future Arc. It was a bit complicated and went in circles a lot, and I think it had a little too many plot twists that seemed slightly contrived (if that makes sense). Future Ryohei was A+ though, omg.
And a different animation team would have been great. The fight sequences would have looked so cool, and it probably would have done the original manga artwork justice.
