As much as Kristoff liked to pride himself on his navigational skills, he’d never been this far out from his small cove of ice in the north reaches of the sea. He knew he was far from his territory, the increase in human activity making it hard to stay unnoticed for a merman of his size.
“No wonder humans have to encroach on my territory -- there’s hardly any fish around here!” he huffed, bubbles escaping his mouth as he brooded near the shoreline.
