One of my favorite things about Horizon Forbidden West is the Datapoints.
The incites to how the old world worked and what people were like. One in particular is a world Datapoint found in Runner's Wild called "Ignominious Cyrathon" which is a short retelling from this man trying to prepare dinner for his partner. It's like one of those short stories that tells you so much in such few words. I was immediately immersed in the man's stress and anxiety. The ways of the entire automated world and how people lived and spent their time is amazing.
There's also the audio Datapoints, there are many that are gut punches. I won't spoil it, but it's number 7 in the RCC category, it's found in the base.
