Actually, the tone for the “Stacey & Stacey“ franchise is so weird to me.
Like, in the first movie, the tone is meant to be kind of coming of age mixed with trying to solve racism [Or, "Rainboism" in this series. Changing it from Colorism cause its an already existing term].
The mini series I have for inbetween the two movies is mostly coming of age, mixed with a few racial scenes and comedic elements.
The sequel isnt as coming of age, but the racism aspects are a bit amped up, as well as a few more comedic scenes.
The threequel... its literally about an entire nation threatening a war. Yeah, its more focused on grey trying to gain their alliance while secretly trying to murder a few people, but it feels so out of place compared to the rest of the franchise. I'm honestly considering something different but this is one of my best ideas. And that's how life goes sometimes. It's silly, then the next day, something bad could happen.
idk why i'm sharing, but whatev :P
also, day 4 of waiting for Caine's song to be released on Apple Music-
YOOOO i relate to that so much, when you cook up some more lore for your ocs or story and lose all original idea, its kind of hard to go on from that point on but honestly i think you got this!! the theme of the war isnt too far away from the racism honestly, like the differences beetwen nations could had become the main reason why grey decided to attack, or better a rebellion, i think you could inspire yourself from the black history and culture since black persons had been oppressed from a LONG time ago and still are, tho i do think the theme of the war its so cool!! ahhgfrgbndkcvbhfd i just thougth about it but your franchise would be something i would genuinelly be interested in if it was a show i love political series and stuff
