Character design. Takes some warming up and such but I get there eventually. There's a few things I need to remember when I draw: 1) I will always hate the first thing I illustrate. Always. 2) I'd probably hate it less if I drew more often. 3) find more references to help practice and hone skills. 4) draw every day. And most importantly 5) HAVE FUN! - I went through a long hiatus in drawing and mentally that affects me a lot. I was developing a style I really enjoyed and found easy to replicate over and over again. - Now I'm at a point in life where I feel my art should already be at a certain standard, where I could seriously take time and create the compositions and Comic books I've always wanted to make. - What holds me back is my fear of failure. Some days all I can draw are the likes of those first two images. Where suddenly I forget all concepts and processes. I hope the rest of this year I can fight that fear, look back and be proud of my progress. Then continue growing.
