..anyone else feel weird abt giving darcy marcys last name?

ik that the “darcy wu” tag is the most used tag with darcy content, but idk it just feels.. off to me to call them that

bc giving them the last name “wu” kinda gives the implication that theyre a part of marcy’s family? if that makes sense? it implies some sort of relation to marcy’s family and, technically i guess they are? but it still feels really wrong bc. darcy is the result of marcys body being used as a puppet. its “dark marcy,” a twisted version with marcys true self suppressed far beneath the surface. it may physically be marcy, but its not him. theyre something else

so idk. i guess, having already twisted marcy’s name is bad enough (in a good way yk?) but giving them their last name… it just feels off

bi and pan don't mean the same thing, even if some people's definitions are similar that doesn't make one term less useful or whatever.

you could make a thousand new multispectrum attraction labels every day and have five or 83 mean a similar thing and they'd still all be lovely and useful because someone created it to describe their experience.
