Remember what we said about Hiccup smelling like Toothless because of his dragon costume? Imagine that night fury babies are blind and orient themselves by smell, so that Hiccup will smell like a parent for them. It's so cute, I can already imagine how little lumps of darkness climb up to Hiccup to sleep and cuddle together!!

honestly hiccup would probably smell like a huge mix of dragons so I can imagine just lil babies of every breed flocking up to him because he somehow smells like all their parents

also forgive me for being dark but hunters using dragon scent to capture baby dragons
