Every time I think about Bree, Sel, and Nick as a trio I get this bubbly feeling because their dynamic is just SO good. Not even just from a romance standpoint but just the way they’re written. The blood walk scene in the second book? I think Tracy injected drugs into that. They don’t even have to be together. The scenes where Sel and Bree talk about Nick in Bloodmarked and where Nick and Bree talk about Sel in Oathbound are some of my favorites. I don’t know exactly what it is about the writing but I just love the three of them together SO much and as characters they’re just fantastic.

one of the things i absolutely love about oathbound and was unexpected is the focus on mariah. i was so happy when i found out she was one of the characters with a pov in the book
