Event ->  Holiday Party || Sirius’s Outfit

“Most everyone else will be bringing out their ugly holiday sweaters,” Sirius said, leaning back in his chair. He tossed his hair over his shoulder, taking a moment to look each of the Marauders in the eye. “But this is our party, and that is just too tame. It’s like a room full of Remuses, which of course I’m not opposed to but where’s the spontaneity? Where’s the inclusive holiday cheer?Who is going to have people to sit on their lap and ask them what they want this year? So I’m going as Father Christmas. And I’m brings a few other props so everyone can feel included. And I need at least one of you to dress up as an elf. Any takers?”

The party was loud and rowdy and drunken people kept bumping into them while attempting -- and failing -- to dance. It was everything Logan hated. The only reason they had come in the first place was out of curiosity; they’d never been to a party before. But there was no escape: The door to leave was somewhere on the other side of a mass of people, and to venture through a crowd would only make them more anxious. So, instead, they slunk to the floor and dropped their head onto their knees, wishing everything and everyone would go away.

As it turns out, dressing up in outrageous costumes is becoming sort of a thing for Sirius. Not to say that he doesn’t enjoy it, really, but were he more sane or perhaps less dedicated he would probably be second guessing himself at the moment. There are only so many times a year one should be climbing into fake sacks of fat , but at least this time we wasn’t painting himself green. That was a plus, and also there was the fact that he also would get to don a wig and beard to rival Dumbledore’s.  But the beard! It was so itchy!

Not that any of the teachers would be finding out about this night. 

No matter all of that. Sirius Black was putting on a Santa suit. Father Christmas would be going around, holding a menorah in one hand and a bottle of booze in the other. Judeochristian inclusivity, and happy holidays to those who don’t celebrate. Maybe he would wear a pentacle around his neck for the Wiccans?

“It won’t matter anyway,” he grumbled to himself, pulling at the fake hair on his chin. “It’ll all come off once I’ve had enough whiskey.” 

“Here, here!” A voice called out to him, and Sirius blanched.

He shouldn’t have chosen to get dressed in a public bathroom.
