Castiel (Supernatural): I love him despite sometimes wanting to shake him silly. I think my opinion is very similar to Dean’s (minus the shipping because no).

SHIPS: With Cas...sigh. I know I’m supposed to say Dean but I really, really don’t. I don’t really ship Cas with anyone, but I think Anna comes closest. Although I love the Cas/Meg dynamic, but I hate Meg so no.

Favorite Headcanon: Gosh, I don’t headcanon Cas a lot. I think my biggest thing is that he knows what he feels for Dean is love, but he doesn’t know how to define it or explain it or even really show it. I think sometimes it scares him.

Jace (Shadowhunters): I like him most of the time, sometimes, when he lets himself be vulnerable, I love him.

SHIPS: Don’t kill me but that scene between him and Maia was hot. H.O.T. hot. I never find hetero sex scene hot, so, there you go. As for him and Clary, I can take it or leave it.

Favorite Headcanon: My Headcanons for him are not fully evolved, but his relationship as a child with Sebastian and Valentine fascinates me to no end.

Santana (Glee): I love her. Except when I want to smack her.

SHIPS: Brittany of course. But Blaintana all the way for the bromance.

Favorite Headcanon: Read all my fic. Santana and Blaine are besties forever.

11. what was the best thing you bought?

hmmm a few great pieces of clothing i must say + my phone in april (after the phone i bought in january got stolen literally two weeks after i got it... man that was a supreme bummer i don’t think i’ve got fully over it, especially the whole trauma of being mugged)

24.what was the best book you read?

there were several i really liked this year (welcome to night vale, god help the child, the long way to a small, angry planet and finally finished code name verity!), but six of crows was probablymy favourite. anyway my new year’s resolution is to definitely read more in 2018 and i’m gonna do it by jove. let’s start by finishing crooked kingdom first!

30. what one thing made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

it’s never really one thing, i don’t think? plus 2017 wasn’t that great or exciting overall for me, but i’d say the few trips i took made the year that much better. that includes the tara mountain in february with my bf and two trips to the seaside in the summer (once with mum and once with bf) + a few one-day excursions/roadtrips with my friends. those were just... the best and i wouldn’t trade them for anything.

9. Have you received anon hate? What about?

Only once. I had written a post about Welcome to Night Vale about...something to do with Cecil and Carlos. I don’t remember what specifically. I said something about Welcome to Night Vale having better LGBT representation than Glee (because I was still watching Glee at the time) and I guess I still had a lot of Glee loving followers because someone sent me a message telling me I had no idea what I was talking about, yadda, yadda, yadda. I tried to engage them, but then they just kept sending angry messages so I just deleted them and moved on lol.

10. Any fandoms you’re ashamed of being in?

Currently? No. I mean, the Steven Universe fandom is a dumpster fire half the time, but I just try not to engage with the ~discourse~ and then it’s fine. I do have some old fandoms that I’m sort of embarrassed about though. Glee is a big one (which I feel bad saying since, you know, you asked me this) mostly because I held on to that show even when I started to hate it. Like, I made myself miserable for two years, for what? Because I hoped Tina would actually be allowed to shine? Because I thought maybe this time the writers would treat the pairings I like nicely? Who knows. All I know is it was bad and I’m ashamed I couldn’t let it go. 

On a more...fun story of embarrassment I also used to adore Jimmy Neutron when I was like, twelve. I don’t mean that I casually watched the show and enjoyed it, either. I was ride or die for Jimmy Freaking Neutron. I have memories of counting down the days until a certain episode aired because it was supposed to have a lot of Jimmy/Cindy stuff (I had SHIPS for JIMMY NEUTRON). The first time I saw the type of meme the show has become, all I could think about was the time I spent a whole weekend working on a Jimmy Neutron fanvid set to a Backstreet Boys song. Like, I ADORED that show. And now it’s a meme.

These are random so I hope they are ok question. 14, 25, 33 and 40

14. What tropes/elements/scenarios get you the worst? 

Hmm I used to be angsted-out by fics that take place mid-cancer arc (without Scully getting better as part of the story), but not so much anymore. I think the subject of William (other than in fics where they kept him, I mean) is what I’ll never get over now, because it’s just something that won’t get resolved - they’re never gonna get that time with their son back, they’ll never get to really be his parents.

25. Any kinks that you’d love to try in real life? 

Yeah I’d like to try to find my soulmate and spend my life with them in an unremarkable house.

33. Least favorite AU tropes? 

I don’t really have AU tropes that I don’t like but what I dislike is when AUs are like, based on a cool concept (and lbr I’ll read pretty much any AU set anytime and anywhere) but they’re either OOC, or rushed, or both. It’s disappointing lol.

40. Do you like fluff? 

I do haha but I do have a fluff threshold… like if a fic is super sweet and worthy of printing on pink rose-scented paper, idk I can’t handle that. idk why. I can handle happy fic where not much happens, but when it gets to the overly-saccharine place something inside me checks out.
