I know it’s easy for me to say ‘don’t worry about it’ but I think as long as you understand yourself, the labels aren’t so needed, and it’s fine to just say you’re gay.

yeah the good news is that i know completely how my gears turn even if the words for breaking it down for other people don't really exist.

if it helps at all, I think I’m about the same as you, from what you’re describing, but reversed? Pretty sure I’m demisexual and do occasionally experience attraction to men, but I’m much more comfortable with the ‘lesbian’ label- and I’m in a safe, comfy romantic relationship where I’ve formed a strong emotional bond- so sex isn’t scary/freaky to me. It IS confusing though.

like yeah im just also like ive been in one situation in my life that couldve ended with virginity losing and i was like NO NO NO NO NO because the guy was like not for me at all and i was very unsure how i felt about him but like i haven't been presented with it as a possibility with someone i actually know i care for incredibly so like who even knows
