76 with Georgie and Vivian? O: they need more love and appreciation aaaa

For you my bb! I love these two so much ahh ;-;

Vivian watched as Georgie regarded himself in her vanity mirror, a handkerchief stanching the steady gush of blood from his nose.

“Fuck! That arsehole broke my bloody nose!”

Though she winced, Vivian knew that Georgie was going to have another prominent bump, and it wasn’t like he was the type to use a glamour to hide the damage. Bigby had really given it to him.

“I’ll get you some ice,” she said calmly, from where she’d been quietly observing her distressed lover.

“Look at this, Vivian!” Before she could leave, Georgie had turned to face her. Crimson-stained handkerchief pulled away, his nose was swollen, bruising already apparently beneath his eyes. “I look like a fucking monster!”

“Seeing the kind of company we keep,” Vivian sighed, going to him, “you know that’s not true.”

She took the hankie from him, moving in close to tilt his chin. “Besides, I kind of like it.”

“Oh right, my big fuckin’ beak.” Georgie rolled his eyes. “That’s why ya fell for me.”

“That, among other things.” A coy smile as she used the ruined material to lightly dab beneath his nose, where blood was pooling onto the curve of his upper lip. “You know I wouldn’t change a thing about you.”

“My ‘eart’s soarin’ outta my chest,” he deadpanned. “Such a romantic.”

She ignored his usual sarcasm, and tilted on her heels to press a kiss to his bloodstained lips. It certainly wasn’t the first time they’d shared a kiss when the man was covered in blood.

“Sit tight, I’ll go get that ice.” Hips swaying, she took her leave, but paused to throw a glance over her shoulder. “And maybe something later to help with the pain."Georgie scoffed at that, but it got a twitch of a smile out of him, and that was as much as she could ask for.

Very well done review of the game.  I don't own it yet but after reading your review it's helped me figure out whether I want to purchase or not.  For now I'm holding off.  And this was very well written and a great explanation without spoiling too much.  Thank you for sharing :)

I can't say I wanted to buy the game after seeing some first few videos from Let's Players. This open world thing just doesn't work for me. I hate having to go through all of these things cuz I'm always scared I miss these little things and stuff like that. Also when you're finally willing to go further along in the original story - which in tew 2 was nothing more than bullshit - something "important" always gets in your way.

            To shorten it: The game should have been about Sebastian saving Joseph from another STEM, not about his stupid daughter we knew nothing about in the first place. I don't even like her, she's annoying. And Myra, ugh, she would have been much better as a truly evil character. The end should have been Seb, Joseph and maybe Kidman going off to live a new life in some town far away. Detective Trio is best Trio. (And some Joseb, let's be real.)

         Yeah, this was the sequel I didn't want at all, and yet... I still found myself hoping for the best. Lesson learned, I suppose. The open world does feel like that. And in a horror genre,  you don't want that feeling because it really takes you out of the moment. And AGREED! I never cared for Myra except for as an important part of Seb's backstory. It was more fun to imagine how she’d be and leave some mystery. Lily wasn't even a well-written child... and yeah, this is a sequel to the DLCs mainly. Which a lot of people haven’t even played! Not the main game, so the two seem so disparate it's almost hilarious. The DLCs seemed to hint that Myra was villainous but I guess it was just HEY LOOK! SURPRISE! SHE'S ALIVE! But either way, agreed... KCPD trio was the driving force of the first game. They should have kept it that way.

I think I read somewhere that Joseph is now a test subject for Mobius and his mind is now broken from all the strain... I hope it won't turn out to be completely true... Well, I think we have to hope EW2 will sell well, so that we can get a sequel or big DLC with Joseph.

Naw, no worries. That was a document about Joseph in the Executioner DLC, which is considered non-canon because you literally sit there and kill Seb and Joseph as The Keeper, haha. At this point I don’t even want to see what they’d do to Joseph...

OMG YES I finally saw it last night :D I always wreck his shit so I never thought to bother him on the phone... SO GOOD. Bigby said Georgie like 20 times baahaha...
