“But you are, too.” – she added, even though Hibiya might have wanted to deny it. He seemed like less of a brat than she was; at least, that’s what she’d argue (though it wasn’t by much) – “And I don’t think I need to remind you how you felt last time when...” – she paused, searching for the right words – “When your family got too much attention...”

Nunnally knew what he meant, but it wasn’t exactly something she wanted to bring up. She liked Hibiya; and that was rare enough for her to admit. With a dismissive wave of her hand, she shifted gears: --

 “But enough of this grim topic.” – Nunnally sighed like it was the most exhausting conversation ever to have – “Now, how about you tell me something actually interesting?"
