I really want a Hijack Tales of Zestiria au. Hear me out: Hiccup and Sorey practically share the same dream. Hiccup strives to create a world where humans and dragons can live peacefully together while Sorey strives to create a world where seraphim and humans can live peacefully together. Not only do they share the same dream, but Sorey says something to Edna when he convinces her to come with him that really makes the AU itself:
“The seraphim, the Shepherds, the dragons... they really [do] exist. There are still so many legends which have yet to be uncovered in this world. There must be a way to purify dragons somewhere just waiting for the right person to find it.”
If anyone can find a way, it would DEFINITELY be Hiccup since Sorey couldn’t - no doubt about it. I feel like that would be one of his main goals on his journey as the Shepard. And considering the Shepard has to stay pure of heart and free of malevolence, adding characters that drastically challenge Hiccup to remain true to himself despite his anger and hatred would really put the whole world at risk since if the shepherd gets corrupted, the world would fall into chaos very quickly. I can imagine a few people like Viggo would relish the challenge~ or maybe even try to manipulate him so he’ll use their powers to help their cause
The only question I’m still pondering are who would the seraphim be? We have to have all four elements so Hiccup can wield their power and achieve the ultimate power as the Shepard: armatization - which is fusing.
Because it’s a hijack au, I can’t figure out if Jack should be a squire (someone who makes a pact to help Hiccup and to share his power) or as a seraphim. I feel like characteristically him being a seraphim would make more since considering normal humans can’t see them. And if he is a seraphim, he’d obviously be a water seraph (which is also the easiest element to corrupt whoops~). Which makes me wonder if they should meet because Hiccup purifies him since Jack was a hellion - maybe even a drake (which means he nearly became fully corrupted into a dragon). Or if they should be old friends
Toothless would obviously be one too. There has to be Prime Lord and was thinking he’d be the best for that? Considering he’s the alpha dragon? He’d sense Hiccup’s purity and will and well everything and know Hiccup’s perfect to be his vessel as the Shepard. Also in Tales Lailah is the Prime Lord and her element is fire, which also fits Toothless being the Prime Lord.
Who could wind and earth be though? We could add the big four into the picture, but maybe we could add others from httyd or rotg instead? Not sure. But yeah, just some thoughts!
