Sometimes it was kisses she did not expect that were the sweetest. If she had been blindfolded and kissed, Kassandra would be able to tell almost instantly if the pair of lips belonged to her wife. No two people kissed in the same way. Kassandra’s mouth was often firm, at times commandeering but always tender by nature. She was good and she knew it albeit this did not make her hubristic. Kyra had caught her off guard this time, grasping her by the jaw and guiding their lips together with urgency. The warrior’s eyes fluttered shut. It was easy to get lost in such a kiss but it eventually came to an end. That couldn’t be it. Kassandra opened her eyes with smile dancing across her lips. “May I ask for a second serving?”

Phoibe’s presence in Athens really WORRIED Kassandra. She knew how the little girl usually enjoyed to put herself in danger because she was far too adventurous. And the misthios had to continue her journey all over the Greek world; she couldn’t stay. She knew Aspasia was supposed to take care of her, but she didn’t know that woman enough to trust her with the life of someone who was like a little sister to her, maybe even a DAUGHTER.

However, before traveling to Keos like Aspasia had suggested, Kassandra had decided to spend one last day of PEACE with Phoibe. She had seen the sadness in the little girl’s eyes when she had told her she would leave soon, so at least, they would have a great day together before they parted.

They were walking in Athens together, but Kassandra knew Phoibe would probably want to go outside, so they could hunt together - Kassandra would hunt for both of them, but the other would still be excited about it - and have a great lunch.

“While I’m not there, stay away from Alkibiades, alright ?” She didn’t think he would hurt Phoibe, of course, but she didn’t want him to talk about ADULT things in front of Phoibe, and even less about such stuff related to Kassandra herself.

“He’s the one who should be putting the work in,” Alexios insisted, elbows propped on upright knees as he watched dusk settle over the forests and cliffs. “I’m not the one who threw a baby off a mountain.” Perhaps he was being stubborn, or too cruel in his words, but it still stung that his own father had treated him so. And now, it felt like Nikolaos was just running from Alexios at every opportunity.

“It’s-  It feels like he can’t stand to be in the same room as me,” Alexios added, his tone a bit softer; a thread of heartache could be heard.  His brow furrowed a bit more. “Like...like I did something wrong by staying here.” Alexios glanced over at his mother with those latter words, seeking reassurance that he still couldn’t make himself ask for.

When Alexios had first admitted to her that he truly was from Ancient Greece, Élise had refused to believe him. She had almost thought that, like everyone around her, he was lying to her, too. But she had quickly understand he was telling the truth; she had found mentions of the Eagle Bearer in old papers of her father’s library, in Versailles. There were mentions of the Cult of Kosmos and the Order of the Ancients, too. It almost SCARED her, but on the other hand, she also admired him a lot, for managing to go through all of this and losing everyone he loved, and still wanting to fight the greater good. He had never become corrupted by his fate, by his kind of loneliness, so he was brave, really brave. She hated herself for doubting him.

“Alexios...” She started with a soft voice as she sat next to him after she had brought two glasses of wine. “How did you manage to stay... I don’t know. Kind.” She chuckled softly. “I lost my father only a few months ago and I feel like I’d kill anyone who’d prevent me to understand how it happened.” She wasn’t even sure of why she was telling him all those things; she just felt COMFORTABLE with him.

He joined the Eagle Bearing Misthios to stargaze mostly because there was nothing else to do and his thoughts were still in array. His mentor was dead and so were his 'friends' as the elder put it, all killed by the hands of this man, and yet, Bacchus knew it was coming and couldn't blame the brunette at all for all of that; the problem now was that without those men around him, chances were that others would come after Bacchus and he was well aware not all would be as generous as the old man.

Either way, he started the night by gazing at the stars, but eventually turned to the misthios. Quietly appreciatin his features, the sharp lines on his face, the wrinkles on the corners of his eyes, how his hair was adorned and how that showed that he didn't abandon his Spartan blood completely... And all of the moment disappeared once he was called out.

Bacchus went from his pale skin to bright red on the cheeks and ears in a matter of seconds and turned his face to the opposite side. He didn't notice he was doing that. "I-It's not what it looks like!" What did it look like though? Oh, the embarrassment! The priest had been sheltered to such a point that not even he understood very well what happened there! He liked to appreciate the beauty in everything, there was never a second or third thought behind simple admiration for how diverse the world around him was, but still... he was always embarrassed when called out on it, because somehow it felt like he was doing something wrong.

Siwa was PEACEFUL that day, but since the events of vault, Aya was anxious. There were dangerous people around; they were probably the worst threat Siwa had ever seen, and she was determined to exterminate the people who had wanted to kill her son, a totally innocent soul. When Khemu entered the room, she went in his direction and hugged him softly. Once they parted, she kept a hand on his shoulder. She almost NEEDED to touch him, to make sure he was still really here.

“So, little man, how this training went ?” She asked with a smirk.

Natakas never knew how to act with Alexios. Of course, Kassandra had told him about her brother. The Persian thought it was INCREDIBLE to have managed to bring him back, to offer him the chance to have a normal life, and to have succeeded in getting him out of the Cult of Kosmos. 

However, even if they had seen each other a few times now since Natakas and Darius were living in Dyme, Natakas could feel how much Alexios didn’t trust him. He was doing his best to change that situation, but it was rather complicated. Alexios was really protective toward Kassandra, and he was convinced something was going on between these two. 

“Alexios, I told you this many times. I assure you Kass and I aren’t dating. We’re friends - good friends.” This was still true, for now, and Natakas was hoping Alexios would come to trust him before they actually got together.
