Annon-Guy: How do you feel about SNK Boss Syndrome rearing it's ugly head into modern day fighting games like Guilty Gear StrIVe?
Nagoriyuki, Ky, Ramlethal, Asuka R#, May and Faust ALL get turned into cheating a**holes because of that!
Not even GranBlue Fantasy Versus and Mortal Kombat 11 (Tower Mode Kronica's a fair challenge, while Base Stroy Mode Kronica is infected with the Boss Syndrome) had this happen.
You DO realize you're asking someone who cleared... and I mean COMPLETELY CLEARED the original UNPATCHED VERSION of Guilty Gear XX Mission Mode, right?
The game that had THIS BOSS? (Among many others.)
I beat EVERY SINGLE MISSION.
EVERY.
SINGLE.
MISSION.
SNK Boss Syndrome is a light concept to me as a Veteran Boss-Beater.
I'm long in the tooth when it comes to beating bosses.
Granted, Nagoriyuki caught me off guard the first few times I faced him... but I've fought worse, both in M.u.g.e.n. and in superboss game mods on PC (read the Game+Modding tag for details).
I'll just warn you ahead of time... if you plan on clearing GGXX Mission Mode one day... you'll have a heck of a time.
I'd say Unlimited Mars in BlazBlue is "slightly easier".
GGXX Mission Mode is pretty much the "Dark Souls" of Fighting game challenges. I'm just warning you now...
Oh... and good luck clearing Guilty Gear XX Accent Core's GOLD ARCADE MODE.
