The rest of the enemy shots from my playthrough of Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition back in March or April.

Man, those Ganymedes (5th image) were much tougher than the Red Giants. Almost didn't make it in that fight.

Love the photobomb of the Marlboro Brat in the 9th image.

That 11th image is so colourful.

Looks like that Malbadoom in the 13th image is bringing Ignis in for a smooch or something, lol.

That Melusine in the 18th and 19th images was a pain in the butt. Love how the 18th one makes her look like some kind of statue.

That Adamantoise shot in the last image is so foreboding and creepy. Wasn't as tough as I thought it'd be. Yes, it took a long time to beat (about 15-25 minutes) but was manageable.

Blue Dragon-Optional Bosses Locations

Disc One:

Mad Eye-Talta Village (disguised as coughing peddlar)

Disc Two:

Jeelala and Gorgo Beastfolk Warriors-part of the Gorgo Giants sidequest. Located in the Treasure Storehouse in Alumaru Village

Guru-Guru and Poison Mists-part of the Gorgo Giants sidequest. Located in the Cave of Exile in the Exile Forest near Alumaru Village

Moody Dragon-Inside secret area blocked by a blue barrier wall. The player must defeat all kelelons in the area and then try to leave to get the boss to appear

Jumbo Poo-Inside the Ancient Ruins-Caverns (the entrance is blocked by a blue barrier wall)

Corrosive Poo-Inside the Ancient Ruins-Caverns. Only appears after the Jumbo Poo has been defeated

Disc Three:

Land Shark C-Found within the Ancient Forest-Ruins, located near Talta Village, only accessible via mechat

Gold Scything Skull Spider-Located on the top floor of the Mecha Base, which travels on a circular path in the Southern Giant Ice Fields. the Black Device is required to get past floor two

Azure Abyssal Dragon-Located within the deepest area of the Sea Cube. After it's beaten, two chests will spawn, one of which has the Black Device

Stonesauras-Inside the Aurora Ruins, accessible via mechat within the Heavy Snow Mountains

Ghost-Yeet-On the Eastern Deserted Island, accessible via mechat and near Alumaru Village. Can be fought an infinite number of times, you just have to leave the island, fly around a bit, and then land again

NOTE-the remaining dragon bosses only appear if the player has defeated the Moody Dragon, obtained its fang and talked to the village chief in Kelaso Village (the village is accessible via mechat in the Heavy Snow Mountains)

Amethyst Dragon-On the Coastal Road, near the rocks close to the Talta Village side

Blizzard Dragon-On a ledge near Kelaso Village

Phantom Dragon-Located in one of the corners of the Great Desert

Spark Dragon-Inside the Gul Mountains, behind a red barrier wall

King Poo-Inside the Ancient Ruins-Caverns. The player needs to have defeated the other two Poo Snake bosses, otherwise it won't appear

Gold Mecha Robo-Within the first room of the Ancient Factory, the Ultimate Weapon Bracelet, (and maybe the Final War Necklace) is/are required to get it to spawn

How to get Love Sources for all your months’-late valentine plans (spoilers):

Level Colony 6 Housing to LV 4.

Relocate Jer’ell from either Alcamoth or Satorl Marsh (post-Mechonis Core). In Alcamoth, the times she’s out is from 6:00-18:00; in Satorl Marsh, the times are reversed, 18:00-6:00. She’s underneath the central escalator in Alcamoth sitting on a bench, and she’s under the stairs at the Satorl Statues in Satorl Marsh (I guess she loves being under staircases). Once recruited, she’s in the central marketplace/street of Colony 6 from 18:00-6:00.

Get Colony 6 up to 5 stars. The thing that helps the most with that is quests. You get more quests by building/leveling the colony up and inviting more NPCs to the colony.

Unlock Shulk’s Bravery skill tree and its branch “Hero’s Privilege.” Also unlock “Friends Now!” from Riki’s Vivacity skill tree. This is to pump up the trade price of your Veritas Glyph(s) so it matches the worth of the Love Source(s). The glyph is normally 45,000 G, but with these two skills, the price goes up to 56,250 G. This is good, considering the Love Source is worth, that’s right, 56,250 G.

Fight a Superboss. :) If you want another Love Source to complete the all of the achievements/fill the Collectopaedia, you need another Veritas Glyph, so you need to fight another Superboss! If you didn’t get a Veritas Glyph at first try? Fight another Superboss! Remember the catchy equation, “sanity + strategy = struggle”!

Trade for that Love Source like the champ you are.

So I'm finally trying to fight Final Marcus, I get a vision, I use a Chain Attack and go to use Monado Shield to protect Reyn… and the game crashes. The Wii U wouldn't even turn off. Bit anticlimactic, that.

Annon-Guy: How do you feel about SNK Boss Syndrome rearing it's ugly head into modern day fighting games like Guilty Gear StrIVe?

Nagoriyuki, Ky, Ramlethal, Asuka R#, May and Faust ALL get turned into cheating a**holes because of that!

Not even GranBlue Fantasy Versus and Mortal Kombat 11 (Tower Mode Kronica's a fair challenge, while Base Stroy Mode Kronica is infected with the Boss Syndrome) had this happen.

You DO realize you're asking someone who cleared... and I mean COMPLETELY CLEARED the original UNPATCHED VERSION of Guilty Gear XX Mission Mode, right?

The game that had THIS BOSS? (Among many others.)

I beat EVERY SINGLE MISSION.

EVERY.

SINGLE.

MISSION.

SNK Boss Syndrome is a light concept to me as a Veteran Boss-Beater.

I'm long in the tooth when it comes to beating bosses.

Granted, Nagoriyuki caught me off guard the first few times I faced him... but I've fought worse, both in M.u.g.e.n. and in superboss game mods on PC (read the Game+Modding tag for details).

I'll just warn you ahead of time... if you plan on clearing GGXX Mission Mode one day... you'll have a heck of a time.

I'd say Unlimited Mars in BlazBlue is "slightly easier".

GGXX Mission Mode is pretty much the "Dark Souls" of Fighting game challenges. I'm just warning you now...

Oh... and good luck clearing Guilty Gear XX Accent Core's GOLD ARCADE MODE.

Annon-Guy: Got any idea's about Johnny's Arcade story in StrIVe in regards to him and May, especially the Stage 9 Ending? P.S. Out of the StrIVe Bosses, who do you think was the most challenging between Nagoriyuki, Ky, Ramlethal, Asuka R# and May?

I already discussed Johnny's endings involving Giovanna and May in an older post, so please read the character tags.

As for the Stage 9 bosses... I'd say they were a LOT harder to fight against in older patches of the game, simply for the reason that only a limited number of characters could fight specific bosses... and some fights in particular were given a major disadvantage (Bedframe versus Ramlethal was particularly difficult because of Bedframe's limited kit of moves and range).

Now that Bedframe has an improved Wild Assault, and adjustments made to its attacks... the gap disadvantage isn't AS WIDE as it originally was... but it's probably still very difficult.

That all being said, regardless of how "broken" the bosses are in some ways... in other ways, their A.I. patterns are rather "banal", so they aren't doing anything that is particularly intelligent or unpredictable.

Spamming throws for example, continues to work on every boss... but there are also a handful of other situations that can be abused as well.

GGST bosses are still NOTHING like the Gold Bosses of older Survival Modes and Missions in Accent Core Plus R (much less older GGXX Mission Mode). I'd argue they are "more balanced", but still get a way with certain things from time to time.

I still firmly believe the vanilla "unpatched" version of GGXX had some of the strongest boss missions in the series.
