((Imma go to bed early cause I’m tired but first here’s wholesome headcanons--the demon lad sleeps with that Seam plushie the one anon gave him (I added it to the canon. it’s official no matter when he was given it and no one can tell me otherwise) he also sleeps in his full-on jester outfit because reasons. comfort clothing. ,,,,,,,that and his cape can be used as a warm blanket if he wraps it around himself so that’s neat but speaking of which I’m gonna sleep now see you guys tomorrow))
((dunno if they’d be considered headcanons or facts, considering that I made his parents as OCs for blog-related stuff but yeah. felt like typing up some random things abt em for absolutely no reason. well other than the fact that they’re assholes but they’re my assholes and they deserve to have more details on their personalities an stuff))
((yeah but first off here’s the link to their basic info in case anyone missed it, and here’s a link to that edgy backstory scene between Jevil and the two of em for those who missed that. probably gonna put the headcanons/facts/whatevers under a read more cause there might be a lot))
((both of his parents have scars as well, but nowhere near as many as Jevil himself. Jazmin has one on the right side of her face, which was the result of the demon jester lad scratching her as a kid--he didn’t mean to hurt her that bad, but oh well. it happened))
((as for X, his scars are a bit more serious. first of all, half of his right horn has broken off, which was due to the king breaking it as punishment for “not doing his job well enough”. he has a smaller scar over his left eye, making his vision in that eye weaker than his vision in his right eye. he’s not half-blind, though, and he refuses to get an eye patch. lastly, he has a big, curvy-shaped one across his stomach from when *spoilers* Jevil slashed him with his scythe at the end of the backstory thing I wrote. luckily, it’s stitched up--although it’s still not nice to have))
((his parents don’t actually want nothing to with him. he’s just convinced himself that they’re like that after the backstory incident. in reality, they’re more upset with themselves, wondering if they could’ve done anything to change the outcome of that situation. they’d like to settle their differences with him, they really would--they just have no idea how they’d be able to do that))
((oh and hey. remember how I’ve said that Jevil completely thought he would die upon gutting himself? that’s because his parents never explained how their species was immortal. they thought it would be too much information for him to bare at a young age, and that he wouldn’t even fully understand it. they would’ve eventually told him if he hadn’t spent a good part of his childhood out of the house, eventually moving out before they had the chance to mention the immortality thing.))
((Jevil, on the other hand, thinks they did it on purpose. he somehow managed to convince himself that they knew he’d snap eventually and try to do...harmful things to himself. he thinks that they just wanted him to learn the hard way--which isn’t true at all. he’s a messed up demon who draws conclusions too easily))
((also, this one’s random, but...Jevil’s nickname, Kyōjin, doesn’t actually come from his parents like you might’ve thought it did! surprisingly, it was actually Seam who came up with the nickname after Jevil had begun talking abt the crazy things he’d learned from the knight. how did the old cat come up with it, you ask? well...))
((he knew the kingdom would probably deem the demon lad insane at some point, due to the things he was saying not making much sense to, well...anyone. and, at the time, Seam was like “hey have you ever thought abt nicknames we could call each other because people do that” and he also knew a bit of Japanese so he came up with “Kyōjin” and of course Jevil thought it was beyond great))
((that’s why he likes his nickname so much--it’s got actual value and meaning to it, and he’ll usually introduce himself with both names in case people will eventually randomly show up like “hey Kyōjin what’s up”--if you do that he’ll be surprised you remembered his nickname but he’d also be happy abt it))

Random headcanons #2 - fluffier/actual random stuff
((it’s been a while since I’ve done a random headcanons post--the only other one formatted like this one was about angsty/sensitive stuff. so now it’s time for the more cute/fluffy and all-around random headcanons I’ve developed for the crazy demon jester himself!))
((for starters,,,when he’s happy/excited/in a good mood, he’ll tend to bounce and/or teleport around the room. this is the same for when other people make him happy--but he’ll bounce/teleport around them instead. when he starts doing this, you can tell he’s truly in a good mood!))
((when he’s around Seam, he’ll tend to do those things a lot. he’s still too nervous to confess his major crush on him (until it happens in blog canon, that is), but he does have tendencies that make it obvious. these include blushing more often when around him, getting embarrassed when asked about him, not wanting to disappoint him, etc. oh and he also likes cuddles with the cat man. cuddles are nice cause Seam’s fluffy))
((although he won’t admit it, he actually quite likes when people call him Kyōjin--his nickname, as we all know. people don’t use it too much, so it kinda makes him happy when they do--he sees it as “hey this person cares enough to use a nickname I only mentioned once or twice :D” oh and it also gets him all flustered when Seam uses it probably due to his huge crush on the cat man))
((this one’s more on the random side, but he honestly thinks Rouxls Kaard is weird and somewhat annoying--in fact, the demon will even mock him from time to time--to him, it’s funny! but to Rouxls, it’s not funny. at all.))
((here’s one to wrap things up--the more Jevil trusts someone, the more comfortable he’ll be sharing more important info with them. although he’s sometimes hesitant with new people,,,once you’re friends with him tho you should be good! ,,,unless he snaps and goes all chaotic once said ‘friend’ says/does something he doesn’t like))

🎂 - Do they celebrate their birthday?((Not really. Being alone in his own chaotic world most of the time has made him lose track of time itself. He doesn't even remember how old he is, or when his birthday is! He'll only remember if someone shows up randomly like "happy birthday" or something))😇 - What was your character’s last good deed?((Honestly, most of the things he does aren't considered 'good deeds' by most people. He usually does things just to see people's reactions, and he ends up messing stuff up a lot of the time.))
