1. What would the title of your autobiography be?

This is a really cool question. Probably "Warning: Reading This Book Will Cost You Hours of Your Life and Money You Will Never Get Back (Also, I Love You)" because my life is literally THE MOST BORING so idk, but anyone willing to possibly read an autobiography of me would get an automatic lifetime supply of goldstars and undying love from me. And possibly some advice to see a therapist because WHY.

2. Are you a cat person or a dog person?

Cat, definitely. I grew up with cats and we own two right now and I adore them. 

3. What’s the coolest dream you’ve ever had?

Anyway, the fact that I somehow skipped five years of my life and didn't remember it left me cold to the bones and I woke up in a panic and the first thing I did was call my friend and ask, "what year is it?" when she answered the phone because I was terrified it had actually happened.

There was also a dream in which I was kidnapped by Russians. The only thing I remember was red.

The FUNNIEST dream, on the other hand, was a dream I had last year about X-Men First Class, and it had to have been inspired by Carpe Brewski and the like (really kick ass awesome fandom-within-a-fandom college AU fic written by gyzym, if you are unaware) and tons of stuff happened but the best part was Charles and Erik went into the kitchen and Charles was digging around in the cupboard and he pulled out an already-made bloody mary, and asked Erik to explain what it was doing there and apparently this bloody mary was actually just cayenne pepper up mixed in water or something, and Erik had been drinking these weird ass drinks for like, weeks now or something, because Erik put his head down on  the counter and muttered, "it's cayenne pepper. It's not even in water. I'm drinking it straight from the bottle, Charles." And his tone was just so desolate and woe-is-me that I literally, and I mean literally, woke up laughing my ass off.

4. Person who’s inspired/influenced you the most in your life?

This question always pulls me up short because I...don't have an answer for it? Probably a combination of my mother/grandmother and friends, I suppose, if I really thought about it, but I don't exactly have one solid influence in my mind. I just kind of...do whatever. 

5. Are there any fandoms that you’re sometimes ashamed to be in?

Er, Supernatural sometimes. Although I try and keep my contact with that fandom as minimal as possible and mostly just stick to reblogging pretty things and occasionally enjoying a fic or two without actually participating in the fandom itself because, no lie, the supernatural fandom scares the crap out of me. There are great, fantastic, amazing, inspiring people in there, and then there are the crazy jealous shipping war haters and the people who ask all sorts of weird personal fourth-wall-busting questions at cons or take their hate for characters too seriously or something and I mean, I suppose all fandoms have these problems, but it always seems to crop up in the SPN a lot and I try and keep out of it.

6. Are you a writer? What do you like to write about?

Yes! Sadly, I don't write nearly as much as I should. I've barely written anything at all this year, in fact, which is extremely depressing and I try not to dwell on it. I just started up a one-on-one rp though, so hopefully it'll put me back on track writing wise. And I write about all sorts of things. I love anything fantasy, sci-fi. I took a course in Magical Realism last semester and adore that, though I'm not confident I could write it. I write original stuff and occasional fanfiction or rambles. Very rarely, I'll write poetry. 

As for original fiction, I like fantasy, sci-fi, anything that can take me away from the monotony of my own boring life. I like strong female characters who aren't stereotypes, yet I most often write from a male perspective for reasons I have no idea why. I usually write about characters who are older than me because I have trouble identifying with people my own age most of the time. I like to write about characters who are flawed but not broken, and characters who get burdens placed on them they were never expecting, nor ever wanted and have to struggle to figure out what to do with them and how to step up and lead the charge. I try to avoid romance because I have no knowledge in that area what so ever, but that's not to say I don't think we should be able to write about whatever we feel like writing about, so long as we're writing.

I like to write about post-apocalyptic worlds because it breaks everything down to necessities and basics and everyone's kind of on level ground with one another just trying to survive. I like antiheroes and characters who are neither good nor bad, or characters who have done bad things and seek redemption for them. I like to write about alter-egos and explore the mind because it's fascinating to me. I like to write about magic, but the subtle kind of magic, not the wands and wizards high fantasy stuff. For a while, all I wanted to write about was angels, except my angels turned out to be dark and twisted. I tend to be a bit cynical and am more interested in the dark side of human nature and maybe, just maybe finding some light in all that darkness.

8. Which character from any fandom can you relate to the most?

WHAT A LOADED QUESTION. GOSH I DON'T KNOW.

No, really. I have no idea. Maybe someone should tell me.

9. What’s your zodiac sign?

Cancer, and yes, I think it suits me quite well. (Except for the whole home-body, traditional, motherly thing. I prefer to travel, I like trying alternative things and I am scared to death of anyone under the age of say, 12, holding a conversation with me because I do not know how to communicate with children.)

10. Science or magic?

This question is hilarious because I've taken to using "MAGIC!" as my catch-all explanation for any question recently. Someone could ask me, "what's for dinner?" and I will probably answer "MAGIC!" I have no idea when this started or why, but sometimes it's rather amusing.
