Bitter Bean was their place, Bitter Bean is where the two have been going since they were able to drink coffee. It's the place where Lyla had become addicted to coffee, and every time she left for NYC to go back to college and come home Bitter Bean is where the two would hang out. Knowing the owner and main barista very well was an understatement, the brunette got up to early and went for a jog and now she's sitting in their spot. Taking a deep breath Lyla took out her journal and started writing, when her coffee was placed in front of her she took a sip not realizing it was too hot "Fuck."
